- US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Wednesday that Da'ash was still active and had some presence in Iraq .
" Iraqi forces have made progress against a preacher, but the organization is still active and has some people there," Pompeo said at a meeting of foreign ministers of the International Alliance Against Da'ash in Washington and his Sumerian News.
"We have to defeat definitively and prevent any safe haven," Pompeo added.
