BAGHDAD (Reuters) - The House of Representatives (Moqtada al-Hamidi) announced on Monday the House of Representatives' intention to pass a law to withdraw US troops from Iraq immediately after the legislative break.

"The law to withdraw US forces from Iraq, which enjoys the support of most of the political blocs is ready to vote during the first session of the House of Representatives on Saturday."

She added that "there is a political consensus on the abolition of the integration of the Committee on Women and Children Commission on Human Rights after the events that have taken place for women in Yazidiya in Syria recently and to make way for the committees to follow up issues with high concentration.

An Iraqi parliamentary source revealed the preparation of a draft resolution to remove US forces and the closure of the base, "Ain al-Assad" west of the country.

"This project will be presented to parliament when it resumes after the legislative holiday ends on Saturday," Okaz newspaper quoted the source as saying.

The source added that the parliamentary forces close to Iran stand behind the preparation of the draft resolution to put it on the agenda of the Council, pointing out that the coordination and communications took place during the parliamentary holiday to get a parliamentary majority when the theme on the agenda.
