Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi discussed with his Jordanian counterpart Omar al-Razzaz the implementation of joint agreements and the continuation of the dialogue.
A statement from his office said that "Abdul Mahdi received a telephone call from Al-Razzaz on Monday evening, during which he exchanged greetings and congratulations on the upcoming Eid al-Fitr holiday."
The Jordanian Prime Minister expressed his "congratulations to Abdul Mahdi and his wishes for Iraq and its people good and prosperity and that the next phase will see more cooperation in all fields."
"During the phone call, the two sides stressed the importance of continuing the work of the Jordanian-Jordanian High Joint Committee and the importance of continuing visits to senior officials to follow up and implement the agreements between the two countries and maintain dialogue," the statement added.
