Zebari reveals the secret of Washington's acceptance of Abadi as prime minister instead of Maliki

[rtl]Hoshyar Zebari, the leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), revealed that the United States has agreed to take over the Dawa candidate, Haider al-Abadi, as prime minister of Iraq in 2014, despite the fact that Nuri al-Maliki had the highest number of votes in the elections.[/rtl]
[rtl]Zebari said in a televised interview that "the Americans had a problem with Nuri al-Maliki, and they felt that it must be changed," noting that "Washington's desire to change al-Maliki was caused by the latter's failure to treat the situation in the country well, as well as other things, including his position From the Arab Spring and the Syrian file.
