An official source denied the issuance of an arrest warrant against the former Mayor
of Baghdad, Dhikra Alloush.
And local media circulated a fabricated document, talking about the arrest of Alloush.
The source, who preferred not to be named, said that "the information circulated in the media about the issuance of an arrest warrant against the memory of Alloush is not true," noting that Alloush resides in Iraq and did not leave it.
He stressed that Alloush contributed greatly to the development of the capital, Baghdad, despite the poor financial allocations, as it had, in cooperation with several institutions, rehabilitated a number of projects such as Baghdad squares, public parks, and others.
