     The director of the office of the former prime minister, Raed Jouhi, issued a statement about what was circulated on the UTV channel towards him personally, in which he stated:
    In a new addition to the series of professional and ethical violations and transgressions that have unfortunately become a feature of some TV programs, the episode of the program (With Mulla Talal) from (UTV) on Sunday (11/20/2022) witnessed wholesale violations, lies and fabrications, as follows:
    1: The aforementioned channel allowed itself without scrutiny (which is a legal duty on it) to host and market the lies of a member of a well-known fraud gang. Most of its members were arrested in 2020 after discovering a fraud that took place in the cities of Sulaymaniyah and Erbil, affecting important personalities. 
    2: The gang impersonated high-ranking personalities and important leaders in the current and previous government. It also targeted victims from all walks of life. 
    3: The members of the professional gang, after their arrest, confessed to the crimes committed before the competent judicial authorities, and that investigations with them were carried out with the cooperation of the federal authorities and the authorities of the Kurdistan region. Many of the money they obtained by fraud were also recovered.
    4: The convicted person (Daban Ahmed Karim), who is one of the gang members who was arrested and sentenced to 11 years in prison for two cases, and whom the aforementioned channel marketed, disregarding all professional standards, has never had any interview with the former director of the Prime Minister’s Office, the judge Raed Johi, who did not visit Erbil in the aforementioned period from the ground up, and the Prime Minister's office is not functionally concerned with the decisions of mobile phone licenses, nor with the issue of arresting the fraud gang, except through access.
    5: According to the available information, Asiacell has paid all the debts owed to the state before obtaining the fourth license, and according to the official and legal correspondence of the Communications and Media Commission, and it is called upon in turn and the rest of the concerned institutions to clarify the facts and stop remaining silent in the face of the current media decline of some media outlets, which unfortunately stand Mostly behind him are the purposes of financial and political extortion of state funds.
    6: Conducting a telephone interview with a convict in a major fraud case from inside the prison without notification and approval of the authorities, in turn, reflects the level of transgression against state institutions, and reveals the real corruption that allows a television channel to deliver a mobile phone to a prisoner convicted of dishonorable charges and attract him to speak in prison. Public space and falsification of facts without deterrence, just to vent political or personal rivalry or revenge.
    7: We will use our legal right to sue this channel and the presenter of the program in accordance with the constitutional and legal mechanisms.

    In conclusion, Iraq is a country of governing institutions and laws, and the growing phenomenon of bullying in social media and some media outlets against the state and the continuation of false accusations against individuals or former officials represents a challenge to the foundations of justice, not to mention the professional and moral appeals that have become widespread on an unprecedented scale, and that All of this calls for the state's legal institutions to be present to stop this collapse, put the law in perspective, and stop the horrific campaigns of transgression against legal, national, and moral constants.
