    {Local: Al Furat News} The Federal Integrity Commission confirmed its implementation of seizures of customs permits, fraud and irregularities in granting loans, forgery and embezzlement at the customs of the northern port of Umm Qasr, the Directorate of Education, Al-Rafidain Bank, the General Company for Agricultural Supplies and Al-Fayhaa Hospital in Basra Governorate.
    The Investigation Department of the Commission reported that the staff of the Basra Investigation Directorate, which moved to the customs of the northern port of Umm Qasr, was able to monitor and seize (109) exempted customs declarations; Despite the suspension of the facilities at the time of the exemption, indicating that the permits belong to two laboratories, pointing out that one of the laboratories had announced earlier this month that the authority had thwarted the process of removing more than (6000) tons of ceramic material belonging to it from the port, as being exempt from customs duties.
    And confirmed the arrest of a suspect attributed to the Basra Police Directorate. For his fraud and taking an amount of (15,000,000) million dinars from each employee who deluded him into allocating plots of residential land for him from the Municipality Directorate, through his agreement with the owner of a private real estate office, and the conclusion of office contracts on plots belonging to the state, which may not be legally allocated, pointing to the arrest of the accused according to Article (308) of the Penal Code, while the accused, the owner of the real estate office, fled to an unknown destination. 
    The department added that the staff of the directorate revealed irregularities in the fuel disbursement records for gas oil and the receipt records belonging to the Basra Education Directorate for the year 2018, which were supplied by the oil products distribution company in the province, amounting to more than (30,000) thousand liters, pointing to the inclusion of idle generators. Within the monthly position of the generators for which gas oil has been dispensed.
    She explained that three loan files granted from the Al-Rafidian Bank branch in Khor Al-Zubayr were seized after placing the name of one of the guarantors and using her documents without her knowledge and knowledge, in addition to the absence of a loan contract in the borrowers’ files, and two loan files for an advance of agricultural machinery equipped from the public company were also seized. For agricultural supplies - Basra branch, they were granted without the knowledge of the borrowers or the sponsor whose monthly salary was deducted. Non-payment of the deduction amount by the beneficiaries of the loans.
    And in Al-Fayhaa Hospital, the ticket officer in the advisory department was seized. Based on the provisions of Article (315) of the Penal Code; After forging large numbers of books and ticket receipts and copying them, and misappropriating their amounts for his personal interest.
