Basra crude prices rose on Tuesday, for the second day in a row, by more than 1%, with the rise in global oil prices.
Basra heavy crude, exported to Asia, rose 84 cents, or 1.06%, to $79.76.
Basra medium crude, exported to Asia, also rose by 84 cents, or 1.01%, to reach $83.91 per barrel.
World oil prices rose with the decline in US oil inventories and the increase in Chinese demand.
