    Baghdad today - Kurdistan 
    Sami Sampson, senior British defense adviser in the Middle East, stressed today, Thursday, to the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, the importance of the success of the process of reorganizing and unifying the Peshmerga and the reforms of the Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs. 
    The regional government said in a statement received by (Baghdad Today) that "Nechirvan Barzani received this morning a high-level British military delegation headed by Marshal Sammy Sampson, the chief British defense advisor in the Middle East and North Africa, and included a number of high-ranking British military officials and officials." 
    He added that "the security situation in Iraq and the Kurdistan region and reforms in the Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs and joint security cooperation were discussed in a meeting attended by Rosie Kaif, the British Consul General in the Kurdistan Region." 
    While the two sides stressed "the importance of the success of the process of reorganizing and unifying the Peshmerga and the reforms of the Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs." 
    The statement indicated, "The need for the process to proceed more effectively. In this regard, the President of the Kurdistan Region expressed his thanks and appreciation to Britain and other friendly countries for their support and cooperation in this process." 
    In turn, "the guest delegation stressed that Britain looks with interest at the security and stability of Iraq and the Kurdistan region, and will continue to provide support and security cooperation to protect security and stability in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region and the success of the process of reform and unification of the Peshmerga."
