Member of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee, Hadi Al-Salami, confirmed today, Tuesday, that Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani committed a legal and constitutional violation in the case of assigning the Governor of the Central Bank to Ali Al -Alaq, indicating that Al-Alaq was negligent in his work and was unable to find solutions to the dollar crisis.
Al-Salami said in a press statement, “When the Governor of the Central Bank, Ali Al-Alaq, was appointed to the position by Prime Minister Muhammad Al-Sudani by proxy and not in person, for a period of 6 months, knowing That this period had passed, he did not issue a new order to him or remove him from the position and assign another person.” He added, "In this case, the Sudanese committed a legal and constitutional violation," noting that "the request he submitted to host the Sudanese in the House of Representatives has not yet been scheduled." He explained, “The bank governor did not perform the task he was assigned to, and he was negligent in his work. The issue of the dollar and its high prices had a negative impact on the citizens, and he was unable to find solutions to it."[/rtl]
