[rtl]The Federal Integrity Commission announced that the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, and the Supreme Judiciary, Faiq Zaidan, disclosed their financial assets for the year 2024.[/rtl]
[rtl]The Authority’s Government Media and Communications Office stated, in a statement received by Al-Eqtisad News, that “the Prevention Department received two financial disclosure forms for the current year for the Prime Minister, Mr. (Mohamed Shiaa Al-Sudani), and the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge (Dr. Faiq Zaidan), “To be the first officials from the heads of the three authorities to disclose their financial liabilities.”[/rtl]
[rtl]The office noted “the disclosure by the head of the Federal Integrity Commission, Judge Haider Hanoun, and the employees who applied for it of their financial liabilities for the current year, and the submission of their forms, so that the head of the Commission would be the first among the heads of independent bodies to disclose financial assets.”[/rtl]
[rtl]He added, "The Authority urged those included to expedite filling out the financial disclosure form, and to adhere to the timings stipulated in the articles of the Authority's effective law," pointing out that "obliging officials to disclose their financial liabilities, and their foreign activities, investments, assets, donations, or large benefits may lead to... This conflict of interests contributes to strengthening the confidence of the Iraqi people in the government and state institutions.”[/rtl]
