    Information / Baghdad..
On Saturday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani gave the Kirkuk Provincial Council one week to decide on the formation of the provincial government.
The Secretary-General of the Islamic Union of Iraqi Turkmen, Jassim Muhammad Jaafar, told Al-Maalouma, “Al-Sudani gave the political forces of the components of Kirkuk, from which the Kirkuk Provincial Council was formed, one week to deliberate with a representative of his office to schedule a second meeting with Al-Sudani.”
He added, "The meeting that brought together Al-Sudani with members of the Kirkuk Council did not reach any agreement to form the provincial government, which prompted him to give them a week for each party to express its opinion on the matter."
He continued, "During the meeting, Al-Sudani stressed the need for the governorate to be managed by everyone, stressing that, 'The anticipated second meeting with Al-Sudani will be held next week.'
Al-Sudani agreed with the political forces in Kirkuk Governorate to form a unified management coalition that includes the forces that won the last elections in the governorate, while the coalition will remain under the presidency of Al-Sudani until the file is resolved. Ended / 25 AD
