The Sultan of Brunei declares that the punishment for illegally celebrating Christmas to be up to 5 years in prison.

Muslims are forbidden from doing anything Christmas-y, like putting up Christmas decorations or wearing Santa Claus hats. Christians may celebrate, but only in private.

    In what country is Brunei?

Brunei IS a country. If you are asking in what CONTINENT, then it is in Asia. If you are asking on what ISLAND, then it is Borneo island.

I sent him a Christmas greeting:

In light of the recent banning Christmas in Brunei I felt obligated to wish the Sultan a very merry Christmas indeed and may Jesus be merciful to you forgiving you of your error and I asked the Lord to reveal the truth of the Gospel to the Sultan  as time is running out and Judgment will soon fall... Feel free to read the book below it is given as a Christmas gift with no further obligation....  banna3
