Paul Ryan threatens to sue Trump over immigration ban
The Center for Immigration Studies found each household in America has been paying thousands of dollars in welfare benefits for illegals.
President Obama, in the first six years of his administration, issued 832,014 green cards to migrants from nations that were predominantly Muslim in make-up, a dazzling number that’s left Republican critics shaking their heads and wondering: How much more can this nation take?
As Breitbart reported, citing a chart from the Senate Subcommittee on Immigration and the National Interest, Obama has overseen a tremendous surge in immigration numbers from mostly-Muslim nations, some of which aren’t exactly on friendly terms with America. By the numbers, the White House has, between fiscal 2009 and fiscal 2014, given out green cards to 102,000 from Pakistan; 102,000 from Iraq; 90,000 from Bangladesh; 85,000 from Iran; 56,000 from Egypt; and 37,000 from Somalia.
These numbers don’t include the statistics on migrants seeking U.S. entry on temporary and non-immigrant visa passage. The numbers also don’t reflect the amount of migrants let in who then overstayed their visas and refused to leave.
But the stats do show that Obama, before he leaves office in January 2017, is on track to issuing more than a million visas to incomers from Muslim nations, a significant finding given the current realities on the risks of terrorism.
Moreover, the migrant influx is proving a hefty cost to taxpayers.
As Breitbart noted: “A report from the Office of Refugess Resettlement indicated that in fiscal year 2013, 94.4 percent of Middle Eastern refugees (accepted to the U.S. between 2008-2013) received food stamps, 73.1 percent were on Medicaid of Refugee Medical Assistance and 68.3 percent were on cash welfare.”
The Center for Immigration Studies, meanwhile, found that between 2014 and 2015, illegal immigrants were making their way into the country to the tune of 550,000 or so each year – and that’s using the government’s own Census Bureau statistics. The 550,000 figures include border-jumpers and those who overstayed visas.
And the 550,000 figures are also significant jumps of about 60 percent from the previous two years, between 2012-2013, CIS noted.
Adding to the problem, WND reported in September 2015 the results of a poll showing most U.S. Muslims would trade the U.S. Constitution for Shariah.
The immigration stats are a reality that’s reflected by presumptive Republican Party nominee Donald Trump’s campaign.
Trump on more than one occasion has spoken of the need to shut borders to Muslim immigrants in order to give security officials time to perform adequate threat assessments. For that, he’s come under fire from both sides of the political aisle.
