Twilight News / confirmed Sherif Ismail , the Egyptian Prime Minister his country 's keenness to strengthen relations with Iraq.
He said during a meeting on Wednesday, Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim al - Jaafari , who is currently visiting Cairo to participate in the ministerial meeting between the Arab countries and the European Union, the importance of working on upgrading aspects of joint cooperation in various economic and political fields, through the continuation and completion of the organization of the institutional cooperation between the two mechanisms in order to serve the interests of the two peoples.
Ismail praised the efforts of the Iraqi government to rebuild the country and achieve the prosperity and growth of the Iraqi people, stressing the aspiration of the Egyptian companies to participate in reconstruction projects in Iraq, contributing to the overall development process at home, to the benefit of the two countries.
For his part , al - Jaafari stressed the need to increase mutual visits by officials from both countries to push aspects of trade and economic cooperation to welcome in light of that enjoyed by the two markets of promising investment opportunities.
