    The House of Representatives ended its twenty-fifth ordinary session held under the chairmanship of Salim al-Jubouri, the Speaker of the Council and the presence of 212 deputies on Thursday to read two bills and vote in principle on a parliamentary resolution on the Anfal crimes.

He also called for "serious action to obtain international recognition of the crime, To compensate the people of the Anfal and to compensate the population of the targeted areas and rehabilitate their environment and the inclusion of crimes Anfal within the textbooks as well as to prosecute those involved in the crime and to bring them to justice and the April 14 anniversary in all parts of Iraq and the Iraqi government's accession to the Rome Convention to prevent the Collective Badda. "
    Then he read Surat Al-Fatiha in memory of the House of Representatives for the souls of the martyrs of the Anfal operation.
    The Presidency decided to postpone the vote on the draft law for the first amendment to the general amnesty law No. 27 of 2017 submitted by the legal committee at the request of the representative of the government and the competent committee until a consensus is reached on the draft law.
    The Council voted in principle to reject the draft law abolishing the Revolutionary Command Council Resolution No. 204 of 2002 submitted by the Health, Environment and Legal Committees to the Government and to prepare a draft law to deal with the objection.
    The Council voted in principle on the wording of a parliamentary resolution on Anfal crimes carried out by the former regime against hundreds of Kurdish villages, ensuring that April 14 is considered a national day to commemorate the Anfal crimes, establishing a special fund to compensate the Anfal people and establishing a center for and set up a monument to Manfelan in a Baghdad square and move the Anfal file in international forums to publicize them.

    The Council completed the first reading of the proposed law of the Federal Executive Authority submitted by the Legal Committee to meet the requirements of change in the system of government in Iraq and in accordance with the basis of the Constitution of the distribution of powers between federal and non-federal authorities and to meet the requirements of forming the government on the basis of a fixed based on the Constitution assigned to the executive authority of exclusive terms of reference and a common view of what is likely taking its mandate from the authorities assigned to the governorates not organized in a region.
    President al-Jubouri introduced the draft law to a vote in principle at a future meeting.
    The Presidency decided to postpone the report and discuss the draft law of the first amendment to the Law of Antiquities and Heritage No. 55 of 2002 submitted by the committees of tourism, antiquities, endowments, religious affairs, culture and flags at the request of the competent committees.
    It was then decided to adjourn the meeting until next Saturday.
