The vote was postponed on the draft law on freedom of expression and assembly and peaceful demonstration.

This came during the session of the House of Representatives ordinary eighth of the first legislative term of the fourth legislative year, which was held under the chairmanship of Salim Jubouri in the presence of 180 deputies, according to a statement obtained (range) a copy of it. Government and parliamentary views over the past period have varied over the inclusion of the amnesty law for kidnappings and the forgery of educational certificates for the post of Director-General and above, which has led to the restoration of the amnesty law to the executive branch for amendment.
The prime minister voiced his strong opposition to the amendments made by the House of Representatives to the draft amnesty law drafted by the government. The law also excluded kidnappings, which resulted in the death of the abductor or the unaccounted for, perpetual disability, rape crimes, smuggling of antiquities and money-laundering offenses. Parliament Speaker Salim al-Jubouri decided at the start of the session on Monday to postpone the consideration of the appeals submitted on the validity of the membership of some MPs because he needed two-thirds of the members of the council. The House of Representatives voted on the draft law on the ratification of the documents of the Bucharest Conference for the year 2004 attached to the Universal Postal Convention submitted by the Committees on Foreign Relations, Services, Reconstruction and Finance. The Council completed the first reading of the proposed law to commemorate the sacrifices of the martyrs of the war against the gangs of the terrorist and accelerate the completion of their transactions and the care of the wounds of the victims and victims of political prisoners.
The statement said that "the Council completed the first reading of the proposed law of the first amendment to the law of general amnesty No. 27 of 2016 submitted by the Legal Committee in view of the issues that appeared in the application of the law in the courts and the existence of a large number of cases that require the inclusion of a general amnesty regarding the assignment of the legal representative of the departments and similar names To those who have been included in the amnesty law of 2008 ".
