President Abdul-Fattah al-Sisi said that Iraq is a cornerstone of Arab national security, declaring Egypt's keenness to support all efforts aimed at restoring security and stability in the brotherly Arab country.
This came during a meeting with President Abdul-Fattah al-Sisi on Monday morning at his residence in Riyadh with Iraqi President "Fuad Masum".
President Al-Sisi stressed during the meeting Egypt's keenness to strengthen the strong and strong relations that bind it to Iraq, pointing out the historic ties between the two brotherly countries, Al-Sisi affirmed, stressing Egypt's full support for the unity and sovereignty of Iraq over all its territory.

The spokesman added that the meeting witnessed a review of the latest developments in the Iraqi arena, especially the ongoing military operations to liberate the city of Mosul, where President Masoum said that all the Iraqi people are wrapped around his army in order to uphold the national interest and eliminate an oppressive organization.
President Sisi welcomed the progress made in this regard, affirming Egypt's support for all efforts aimed at achieving genuine national reconciliation that supports development and stability efforts, as well as supporting the Iraqi government in its efforts to eliminate extremism and terrorism, paving the way for the reconstruction process.
