He explained Baba Zadeh in an interview with a journalist , that the increase in gas production through new phases of the South Pars field, gave Iran the upper hand in the global gas trade and negotiations with neighboring countries.
He added that the South Pars field accounts for about 75 percent of Iran's total volume of production, where the need to increase the extraction and production of this common field (with Qatar).
Among Papazadh that Iran and in the light of increased production of Pars field advanced one rank in the world trade of gas will be issued for the first time gas to Georgia, as well as the intention of the company's national launch negotiations with neighboring and distant countries.
He pointed to the surplus exceeds the average of 60 million cubic meters per day of domestic consumption in the country and that this represents an export advantage to Iran.
