Dhi Qar denies attacking "monkey" for a residential neighborhood in Shatrah

Dhi Qar, June 9 - The Dhi Qar provincial police chief denied on Friday what social media outlets and some local media had reported attacking a herd of monkeys in Shatrah.
The office said in a statement that "it is not true to the social networking pages reported the presence of a flock of monkeys attacked the homes of citizens in Shatrah."
"This news is shameful and the owner of the publication is looking for fame and the necessary legal measures will be taken against him," the statement said.
Also denied the director of the municipality of Shatrah Nazem Nasser, on Friday, the validity of what was published on some social networking sites (Facebook) on the attack of a flock of monkeys on one of the residential neighborhoods of the judiciary.
"There are two monkeys in a rented garden next to the al-Qaimqamiya building, who used to climb trees near a house and go up to it," Nasser said in an interview.
He added that the information provided by the social networking sites is unfounded and is part of the joke by the publishers and that it has nothing to do with reality.
He added that he directed the environment department in the department to follow up the matter, pointing out that a number of concerned departments, including the Environment and Veterinary Service, are constantly following and handling bulk animals. Finished
