[ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, condemned the bombing that targeted Timimi mosque of Kasra area of northern Baghdad which resulted in killing 30 persons and injuring 51 others.[/ltr]
[ltr]A statement by Nijaifi’s office received by IraqiNews.com quoted him, as saying “We strongly condemn the terrorist attack against the citizens in Kasra area which is clear evidence on the means of the enemies of Iraq to create the sectarian sedition.”[/ltr]
[ltr]“The weak intelligence system and the security measures are behind the repeated security breaches that target the innocents,” he added.[/ltr]
[ltr]He called “The security forces and their officials to hold their responsibility to protect the Iraqis and increase their efforts in this issue,” expressing “His deep sadness to the murder of the citizens in such a brutal way and wishing the quickest recovery to the injures and the mercy to the deaths.”[/ltr]
