    Minister of Transport Kazem Al-Alami revealed the progress of four Gulf and foreign companies to work in the construction of berths of the ports of Faw and Khor Abdullah in the province of Basra, revealing that the reception of bids will close on Monday.
    Minister Al-Hamami said in a press statement yesterday: "The companies that are working for the project are among the largest international companies, noting that they will have a role in the case of bidding on one of them. It will ensure the construction of berths in the ports of Faw and Khawr Abdullah, the work.
    He said thousands of local workers with lucrative wages would be drawn to work on the docks as soon as construction work began.
