Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Oil Minister Hayan Abdul Ghani confirmed, on Friday, his support for the Iraqi Drilling Company and turning it into a profitable company.
A statement by the ministry stated, "Oil Minister Hayan Abdul Ghani stressed the ministry's keenness and seriousness in supporting the Iraqi Drilling Company to advance performance levels and upgrade it to be a profitable company competing with international companies in terms of workload and performance. In which".
Abdul-Ghani added, "We are pleased with the amount of work achieved during the past period in various locations, and we aspire to raise the level of performance, and for the company to be one of the active companies and transform it from a losing company to a profitable company."
The Minister of Oil referred to “the support provided by the Ministry to the Drilling Company to implement projects for drilling and reclamation of oil wells for the benefit of national and international companies, and its effective contribution to increasing production,” stressing “the continuation of the large volume of support for its work and working to speed up equipping it with the latest mechanisms, towers and equipment necessary in its field of work.” .
