    The Health Department of Dhi Qar has received more than 100,000 patients and conducted about 5,000 operations in one month, while the surgical procedures varied between small, medium, large and large operations.
    The director of technical affairs department in the health department of Dhi Qar, Dr. Hassan Fathallah told "Al-Mada" that "the 9 hospitals in the province received 101,798 reviewers and carried out 4767 different operations between a small, central, large and above major operations last July."
    "The hospitals of Al-Nasiriyah city center topped the list of operations due to the city's population density and the diversity of medical specialties in its hospitals. Al-Hussein Educational Hospital issued 1430 different operations, followed by Bint Al-Huda Educational Hospital for Childbirth and Children with 783 caesarean sections, With 771 different processes, including ophthalmic operations, nose and throat operations as well as caesarean deliveries. "
    Fathallah pointed to "the great role of specialized centers in the treatment of chronic and serious diseases, praising the importance of the work of the center of Nasiriyah heart, where recorded during the month 525 surgeries and catheterization of the heart."
    He pointed out that "Al-Shatrah General Hospital conducted 641 surgeries while Al-Refa'i Hospital carried out 363 operations. Sook Al-Shuyukh Hospital also recorded 230 different surgical operations in addition to the General Hospital of Al-Chabaish which He conducted 24 operations. "
    He added that "the hospitals in the province has operations halls equipped with all their needs of modern medical devices and medical staff and nursing specialist working around the clock and efficiently."
