    The Ministry of Agriculture will open in the next two months, the cows station of victory in Wasit province, after being confirmed free from bovine tuberculosis, confirming the absence of any disease of rinderpest in the country. The adviser to the ministry for livestock activity, Dr. Hussein Ali Saud, Morning ": that the ministry had been a stone of health, eight months ago on the cows station victory in the province of Wasit, which includes more than 2000 cows, because of the discovery of cases of tuberculosis bovine tuberculosis, confirming the formation of the ministry committee in anticipation of transmission of infection, while executed 1000 infected cows and damaged milk Which is located in the station The healthy cows were isolated from the disease and re-examined to ensure that they were free of any infection, and kept them under the veterinary quarantine, revealing tests for the workers of that station in order to ensure that the disease did not spread to them.
    Saud pointed out that the ministry is in the process of opening the station during the next two months, providing the veterinary unit with the necessary vaccines and medicines, noting that the ministry's veterinary department has a program to launch vaccination campaigns throughout the year to reduce the pathological injuries to livestock.
    He pointed out that the increase in temperature is a good factor to reduce the rate of injury, which increases in the seasons of spring and autumn, confirming that the country is free from rinderpest disease with a certificate from the World Animal Health Organization, thanks to continued campaigns of vaccination and control to control the disease.
