[ltr]Three people were injured Sunday when a stabbing took place inside a church in the Aston neighborhood in a suburb of Birmingham.[/ltr]
[ltr]The West Midlands police said in a statement to Mawazine News that the attacker, a 46-year-old man, had been arrested while one of the injured, 33, was taken to hospital and was in stable condition.[/ltr]
[ltr]The police confirmed that "the other injured were lightly injured in their hands when they tried to address the aggressor."[/ltr]
[ltr]Initial investigations, according to the police statement, that "the victim of the attack was known to the attacker, and the attack was not random."[/ltr]
