Myanmar's leader Suu Kyi on Tuesday expressed concern over the Rohingya Muslims, who flee the country to Bangladesh by hundreds of thousands.

In her first speech to her people since the recent Ruhingya Muslim crisis, Suu Kyi condemned human rights violations in Rakhine province and said anyone involved in such violations would be held accountable according to law.

The leader said her country was not afraid of "international scrutiny" of the Rohingya crisis, declaring Myanmar's willingness to organize the return of refugees.

The recent crisis has led to clashes between the Muslim Rohingya minority and government forces, displacing more than 400,000 towards Bangladesh in order to escape violence.
