The Turkish Interior Ministry on Monday issued a statement in which 45 members of the "terrorist organizations" were killed in security operations across the country during the past week.
The ministry said in a statement that the security forces carried out 455 operations in the framework of combating "terrorist organizations" between 16-23 October.
The statement said that the operations resulted in the killing of 45 "terrorists" killed during the raids, while the arrest of 8 others, and handed 11 people themselves.
The Interior Ministry said security forces arrested 131 suspects for harboring and supporting the PKK, 69 suspected members of Da'ash, 643 on suspicion of having links with the Fuehollah Gulen and 16 others belonging to "leftist terrorist organizations" "He said.
The statement pointed out that the security forces seized large quantities of weapons and ammunition were held by terrorists, and destroyed 36 mines and improvised explosive devices. C
