Prince of Qatar: Trump proposed a meeting in America to resolve the Gulf crisis

The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, said US President Donald Trump had proposed a Camp David meeting for the parties to the Gulf crisis to find an end to the crisis.
The Emir of Qatar, in an interview with CBS, said that the US president told him that he is committed to finding an end to the Gulf crisis.
Sheikh Tamim said that the Camp David meeting between Qatar and the embargo countries was supposed to be held quickly, pointing out that there is no response. Sheikh Tamim said that his country is ready to participate in the meeting, which called for dialogue from the beginning to resolve the crisis.
Sheikh Tamim said that Trump had clearly told him that Washington "does not accept the fighting of America's friends among themselves," referring to the parties to the Gulf crisis. "If there is any military action, the region will be in chaos."
The Emir of Qatar explained that the real reason behind the siege of Qatar is that the countries of the blockade do not like the independence of his country, pointing out that Qatar calls for freedom of expression in the region, which is seen by the embargo countries as a threat to it. He stressed Sheikh Tamim that "sovereignty is a red line, Any one interfering in our sovereignty, "adding that Qatar will not close the Al Jazeera.
