    [ltr]Prime minister Haider al-Abadi will oversee operations to purge the western desert from the terrorist group of ISIS, according to a statement released by Abadi's office.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The move comes after the Iraqi forces liberated the district of Rawa in Anbar, the last stronghold for the terror group in Iraq.[/ltr]
    [ltr]In the brief statement, the office said:"In his capacity as the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, Abadi will follow up and oversee the operations to purge the desert areas, given the liberation of Rawa district.[/ltr]
    [ltr]ISIS terror outfit has been incurring huge losses in Iraq in recent months, with its affiliates expelled entirely from Mosul, Tal Afar and other areas.[/ltr]
    [ltr]On Friday, the Iraqi forces expelled those terrorists from Rawa, their last stronghold in Iraq.[/ltr]
