Last week saw important Syrian-Chinese talks.
During a meeting with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's advisor Buthaina Shaaban on November 23, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi praised Syrian efforts to fight terrorists from the Islamic East Turkistan Movement.
According to press reports, the Syrian president's adviser discussed with Chinese military officials the participation of Chinese special forces in fighting terrorists from the "East Turkistan Islamic Movement", which Syrian forces spotted their presence in the countryside of Damascus.
The Chinese Ministry of Defense plans to send two units known as the "Siberian Tigers" and the "Night Tigers" from the Special Operations Forces to Syria to fight terrorists from the "East Turkistan Islamic Movement".
The organization has committed more than 200 terrorist acts in China in the last few years.
It should be noted that China does not mind sending its troops to Syria. In 2015, the Syrian authorities allowed 5,000 Chinese soldiers to enter Syrian territory, according to the newspaper IN24.
