    The European Union congratulated Iraq on its victory over a supporter, and called for the initiation of dialogue between Baghdad and Erbil to resolve differences.
    "We congratulate the Iraqi people and the Iraqi government on the victory against Da'ash, which opens the way for a brighter future for Iraq," the EU said in a statement received by al-Mada. 
    "The Prime Minister's comments that fighting corruption will be a continuation of the fight against the government's commitment and commitment to respect the rights of all Iraqis, men and women, regardless of their origin or religious identity, are also welcome despite the many challenges," the EU said. 
    "It supports the government to persevere in the path of reform and reconciliation because this is the only effective way to eliminate extremism and terrorism in the long run," the EU said. 
    The EU, the government of Iraq and the regional government, called for "a constructive dialogue on all unresolved issues based on the constitution."
    "The European Union will continue to support the Iraqi people and the Iraqi government to meet the critical humanitarian challenges and achieve stability, reform and reconciliation that will face them in the coming years." 
    In a related context, Speaker of Parliament Salim al-Jubouri met with a delegation from the European Union headed by Ramon Bliko. Al-Jubouri confirmed that Iraq has completed a dossier on the reconstruction of cities and the return of displaced people. "The meeting reviewed the latest developments in the political and security situation in the country, and discussed the security and economic issues and ways to support Iraq in this regard," Jubouri office said in a statement received by Al-Mada. The statement quoted Jubouri as saying that "Iraq has finished a file calling for the terrorist and next to an important stage is the reconstruction of liberated cities and the return of displaced, which requires the availability of international and regional support and support."
    The Union of Forces appreciated "the efforts made by the European Union to provide humanitarian and relief support to Iraq and to contribute to restoring stability and rehabilitating the infrastructure damaged by the military operations." For his part, the EU delegation stressed "keenness of the countries of the Union to support and support Iraq in all fields."
