[ltr]The new pipeline will replace part of the pipeline connecting the oil-rich province of Kirkuk, which has been under the central government in Baghdad since October and the Turkish port of Ceyhan on the Mediterranean.[/ltr]
[ltr]Crude oil will be transported from the Baiji area, Salah ad Din province, south of Kirkuk, to the Fishkhabur border crossing with Turkey.[/ltr]
[ltr]Local and international companies have a month to submit bids for the completion of the project, a quarter of which is awarded to local companies, the minister said.[/ltr]
