    Wasit: 1488 traffic violations in a week 
    The director of traffic in Wasit province, Menem Hawaidi, reported the monitoring of 1488 traffic violations by drivers of vehicles and wheels in Wasit province and within seven days from 2017/12/17 to 2017/12/23. He said in a press statement that "the passage of Wasit recorded 1488 traffic violations in the external roads of the province within six days and included these violations of high speed and violation of the laws of safe driving and not wearing seat belts." He added that "237 violations were registered at the speed of severe and more than 120 km in addition to 42 violations of the safe passage and 66 violations of non-wearing seat belts and 1064 other miscellaneous violations."
     

    Diyala: the resumption of the sports city project 
    Diyala President Ali Daini announced the start of the steps to resume work on the construction of a sports city in the province at a cost of more than 105 billion dinars. 
    Al-Daini said in a press statement that "a meeting was held with the representative of the Russian company Albion, which is implementing the project to build the sports city at the Farnas Air Club in Diyala, which will include the establishment of Olympic stadium for a variety of sports activities within the international specifications and the establishment of a 4-star hotel." 
    He added that "the meeting resulted in a discussion of the overall conditions and constraints facing the work of the implementation of the project in terms of providing financial allocations and dedicated to its implementation through the approach of the concerned parties."
     

    Education announced the results of the acceptance of the martyrs of martyrs 
    The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the results of the acceptance of the families of the martyrs in universities evening study for the current year. 
    "785 students from the families of the victims of the Baath party's crimes were accepted, 162 were students of martyrs of the popular crowd, and 1431 were students of the category of victims of military operations, military errors, terrorist terrorism and the wounded in universities for the year," spokesman Haider al-Aboudi said in a press release. 2018/2017 ". 
    He added that "the names of students admitted to universities can be found through the portal of the Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up."
