Former Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has been described as an "opposition" by Iranian leader Ali Khamenei, following an argument between the latter and the head of the judiciary, Sadiq Ammi Larijani.

According to the Information Office of Khamenei, the Iranian leader said that "those who were in charge of the country and all the possibilities were in their hands yesterday, should not speak against the country, but the contrary to respond to the allegations against them with responsibility."

Khamenei added that "the judicial authority is not free of mistakes, and I understand well the problems faced by the judicial and executive authorities, but the negative and negative aspects must be seen together."

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who faces charges of corruption, said earlier that he would make statements against the judiciary if he did not provide documents and information to the public within 48 hours.

With the deadline, Ahmadinejad accused the head of the judiciary, Sadiq Amali Larijani, of "seizing power."
