The largest exhibition of works of art in the country, held by the Iraqi Fine Arts Society, was opened in the Iraqi capital on Saturday, with the participation of more than 100 artists and artists. The exhibition area, which attracted a great number of visitors and visitors, was spread over a number of paintings, sculptures and coffins. "Iraqi artists are a forgotten clan," said the president of the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association, Qassem Sebti, referring to the lack of interest in their experiences, especially young people. "The exhibition (...) is a vital opportunity for Iraqi artists to present their works at a time when the exhibition halls are missing here in difficult circumstances that prevent exhibitions from being held abroad," said Fakher Mohammed, a plastic artist who participated in the exhibition. The Art Show Hall of the Iraqi Plastic Artists Association is the only one to receive art exhibitions in Baghdad, , After the capital was full of several areas began to decline since the nineties of the last century. This prompted Iraqi artists to use showrooms in Amman, Beirut and other Arab and European capitals. This year's exhibition also featured the participation of young artists. Mohammed described their experiences as "promising and possessing the ingredients of development".
For his part, Sabti expressed his pride in the experiences of the Iraqi artists participating in the exhibition, speaking of "a very high-level women's art movement." More than 15 artists from more than 80 participants participated in the works of painting, in addition to five artists who participated in sculpture works from among 60 artists and three others who presented ceramic works.
