157 projects for investment in the donor conference in Kuwait

The National Investment Authority has announced its intention to offer 157 projects to invest in the International Donor Conference, scheduled for this month.

The agency said in a statement that "157 projects for all sectors of the Iraqi economy will be presented to investors, during the Kuwait International Conference for the reconstruction of Iraq, which will be held in Kuwait for the period from 12 to 14 February next."
"The projects that will be presented will be the major strategy, and the other medium, including oil and gas, transport, housing and agriculture."
The major strategic projects to be offered for investment are the fertilizer and petrochemicals sector, the railway, airports, tunnels and highways sectors, as well as the housing sector.
While the medium projects will include engineering, health, education, agriculture, leisure tourism and trade. "
Some 70 countries are due to participate in the International Conference on Iraq Reconstruction, which is set aside for investment opportunities, and $ 100 billion for the reconstruction of areas liberated from Da'ash.
The Iraqi government announced last May that it needed about $ 100 billion to rebuild the liberated areas of Dahesh's control in the north and west of the country.
The infrastructure of the Iraqi ministries in the provinces under the control of "Da'ash" suffered large losses, including projects of electricity, health and education, estimated at billions of dollars.
