Sabah: The issue of Iraq's debt is separate from the Kuwait conference

Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sabah al-Hamad al-Sabah said on Wednesday that Iraq's debt to Kuwait is different than what was promised at the Iraq reconstruction conference, stressing that the two issues are completely separate.
"The course of debt is different from what was promised in the reconstruction conference in Iraq and the two issues are completely separate from each other," Sabah told a news conference after the conclusion of the conference held in Kuwait and followed by Alsumaria News.
"We are starting from the statement made by the Amir of Kuwait on Sunday morning morning in the opening speech of the conference with the financing of loans billion dollars and investment in Iraq by one billion dollars," he said.
