    Some of the leaders of the crowd, most of whom are preoccupied with promoting the elections, have criticized the conflicting security decisions in Kirkuk to save the force that was ambushed. 
    "The force has been betrayed, because the attack occurred during the heavy rain," Moussawi said, while the government and the leadership of the crowd called for reinforcements to be sent to Hawija to control the situation there.
