    The Basra Federal Court of Appeal announced Thursday that the criminal courts in the province have completed 1,630 cases in the past three months, including 98 cases that have been sentenced to death by hanging. 

    The media office of the Presidency of the Court in a statement received "Baghdad Post" a copy of it, "The criminal courts of the Presidency of the Court of Appeal Basra Federal completed 1,630 claims during the first three months of the current year 2018," noting that "of the sentences 98 death sentences, 11 sentences To life imprisonment, while the release of 183 accused for lack of evidence, and the reconciliation was accepted in 144 criminal proceedings. " 

    The Office said in the statement that" the criminal courts completed 262 cases, courts of misdemeanors 1275 cases, and juvenile courts 93 cases. "
