A new scandal revealed by leaked documents from the State Department on allegations of corruption in the millions of dollars in the purchase of buildings for the ministry in a number of countries.

The Office of the Inspector-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is checking the information that there is suspicion of corruption in the purchase of real estate in the German capital of Berlin and the Norwegian capital of Oslo, "one of the documents issued by the Office of the Inspector-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on July 26, 2016.

The other document leaked to some media, including the minutes of the investigative committee, which began in January 2016 to investigate the circumstances of the purchase of the building of the Consulate of Iraq in Los Angeles.

According to the document, the investigative committee did not find the real price of the property purchased for not using the committee charged with the competent authorities in the United States of America for the purpose of evaluation before the purchase, and conflicting statements of the purchase committee and the accountant of the former, "noting that the price fixed by the Committee of purchase was nine Million and 300 thousand dollars.

The investigative committee concluded that: "The legal responsibility is limited to the Consul General, the Chairman of the Procurement Committee and the former accountant. There is a discrepancy in the statements and what is confirmed in the decision of the Procurement Committee and the report of the representative of the Office of the Inspector-General of the Commission.
