US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said no decision had been made on whether the United States would withdraw from the nuclear deal with Iran reached in 2015, but made clear that Washington was unlikely to commit to it unless significant changes were made .

"No decision has been taken and it is unlikely that US President Donald Trump will remain in this deal after May," Pompeo said at a press conference on the sidelines of a meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Brussels.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has said the deal with Iran over its nuclear file is insufficient to contain Tehran's ambitions.

Merkel said during a joint press conference with US President Donald Trump during her visit to Washington: "We consider the Iranian nuclear agreement a first stage, which contributed to slow down their activities in this regard in particular (...), but we also believe from a German perspective that this is not Enough to ensure curbing Iran's ambitions and containment, "according to" France 24 ".
