    [ltr]MP Ibtisam al-Hilali said on Saturday that parliament will hold another session on the elections next week.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Al-Hilali said in an interview with "Al-Mawazin News" that "Parliament MPs will hold another meeting next week, because the Council's validity will continue until June 30 next."[/ltr]
    [ltr]She added that "the next session will be special to discuss the parliamentary elections that took place last Saturday and its results."[/ltr]
    [ltr]The parliament is due to convene this afternoon, an emergency session to discuss the parliamentary elections and their repercussions.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The Electoral Commission announced on Saturday night the final results of the parliamentary elections held on May 12, 2018, and came in first place alliance supported by the Sadrist movement leader Moqtada al-Sadr, and the second alliance of the conquest led by Hadi Amiri and third alliance victory led by Haider Abadi.[/ltr]
