Palestine: Bin Zayed buys Jerusalem property in favor of occupation
Deputy Chairman of the Islamic Movement in the Palestinian Territories, Sheikh Kamal Al-Khatib, revealed the involvement of a businessman close to the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Mohammed bin Zayed, in the purchase of Jerusalemites, and later converted in favor of the Israeli occupation.
Khatib said that "the UAE returned again to try to buy consciences of the people of Jerusalem and their homes by 20 million dollars for the house, and turn them in favor of the occupation."
He added in a tweet on his account on Twitter: "But they lost, the people of Jerusalem does not lick their saliva in front of anyone's money."
According to Khatib's assertions, a businessman close to Bin Zayed targeted the houses adjacent to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, with the help of a Jerusalem businessman who is considered Mohammed Dahlan's adviser.
The offer included $ 5 million to buy a house adjacent to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and when Al-Maqdisi refused the offer, the amount reached $ 20 million for the same house.
"In light of these serious circumstances, we advise our Jerusalem residents not to deal with any attempt to sell homes or real estate to any party, under any cover," he said.
"The rulers of the Emirates are a serious germ in the body of the nation," said the vice president of the Islamic Movement in the Occupied Territories.
Last year, Khatib accused UAE companies and associations of buying Jerusalem properties for the benefit of the Israeli occupation, especially near Al-Aqsa Mosque, stressing that this strengthens the Israeli presence in Jerusalem and aims to Judaize the city.
In May 2016, documents were revealed confirming that the UAE was buying old Jerusalem properties and selling them to settlers through pro-Palestinian figures such as Mohammed Dahlan, a Fatah leader.
