    Follow-Up

A report by the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) concluded that chlorine gas was used in an attack in the Syrian city of Douma in April that killed dozens of civilians and prompted the United States, Britain and France to launch air strikes.

According to Reuters, the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons had sent a fact-finding mission to Douma in mid-April, about a week after the attack on the seventh of that month in the enclave near Damascus.

"Various organic chemicals containing chlorine were found in samples" taken from two sites, the report said. No evidence of nerve gas was found.
