Former MP Jameelah al-Obeidi revealed on Tuesday US efforts to form the largest bloc during the days of the coup, while she said that all political meetings to form the government failed and did not succeed in achieving the largest bloc.
Al-Obeidi said in a statement to the "Information", "Washington is seeking to form the largest bloc and the next government to maintain their political interests and impose its hegemony on the government decision," pointing out that "the next government and the largest bloc will be formed by American will."
She added that "all meetings and political meetings between all blocs to form the largest bloc failed and did not achieve its political objectives," explaining that "Washington will play an important role in the formation of the government and impose its will on a number of political parties to form the largest bloc after Eid al-Adha."
