    Jassem Al-Alawi, a member of the House of Representatives for the State of Law coalition, confirmed today, Saturday, that it is not possible to achieve the "largest bloc" without the Sadrist movement.
    Al-Alawi said in a press statement that "the consolidation of the agreement within the component is responsible for the largest bloc, adding to this alliance the speed of achievement."
    He added, "With the tripartite alliance and the Shiite component that represents the largest bloc, this certainly contributes to facilitating the process of forming the government as soon as possible, and there will be no government by leaving any part in forming the government, especially the Sadrist movement, and the largest bloc cannot be achieved without them."
    It is noteworthy that the deputies of the Coordination Framework and their allies did not attend the parliament session last Wednesday (March 30, 2022), but went to hold a meeting at the headquarters of the Badr Organization, in the Jadriya area of ​​the capital, Baghdad, in the presence of the head of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, the head of the Fatah Alliance Hadi al-Amiri, and the leader of Asa’ib. Ahl al-Haqq Qais Khazali, and others.

    If anything, they understand losing power. The coordination framework group is remembered as the notorious political group who has in the past killed the protestors and now obstructed the forming the government. They will adjust their stance to hold what seats they still have. Otherwise, dissolving Parliament and new elections will further erode seats thus their power. I don't think they are willing to chance that which is why they are already making compromise gestures. It will end well. The bottom line is ultimately self-preservation.
