The Baghdad Operations Command confirmed in a press statement that no incident was recorded during the security plan for Eid al-Adha, and this year's plan was characterized by great flexibility, a high flow of implementation and the participation of all types of security forces.
The leadership commended the security forces for their efforts exerted towards the success of this plan, as well as on the citizens and their constructive cooperation with their sons and members of the security forces, and thanked the media, which used their efforts to show the role of the security forces in protecting the citizens. A member of the association Mohammed Abdul Hadi told the reporter, "Sabah" Hassan Shahid Al-Azzawi: The Assembly began distributing Eid clothing among 1000 families of widows, divorced women and orphans in the province on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
He added that the society also distributed 100 food baskets among needy families, noting that the distribution process included rural and remote areas because it is the poorest in the province.
He explained that the food basket that was distributed included quantities of rice, oil, sugar, tea, flour and other quantities of legumes.
For his part, Director of the Special Transport Department in Wasit Riyad Al Gharawi told Al-Sabah to prepare a fleet of the latest buses to transport families to the holy shrines and places of entertainment during Eid Al-Adha. He pointed out that there are plans prepared by the Department to reduce transportation fees during the return march to the governorate.[/rtl]
