Oil prices rise slightly after assurances of continued supply of Libyan oil
Follow - up / ... Oil prices rose slightly in trading Tuesday, after assurances from the Libyan Oil Corporation is constantly pumping crude oil , despite an attack on its headquarters in Tripoli on Monday.
The head of the National Oil Corporation in Libya, Mustapha Sinnallah, said yesterday that the attack on the headquarters of the institution in the capital Tripoli, on Monday morning, will not affect the production and the rest of the operations.
Gunmen attacked the headquarters of the Foundation, there were explosions and heavy gunfire inside the building, and the detention of employees as hostages; killing two employees of the Foundation, and wounding 10 others.
By 0550 GMT, the benchmark Brent crude for November delivery rose 0.27 percent, or 21 cents, to $ 77.58 a barrel.
And slightly by 0.1 percent or 7 cents, US crude prices, delivery in October, to 67.61 dollars per barrel.
However, Bloomberg's indicators point to a rise in US oil inventories, which holds back the rise of oil at a higher rate, pending the announcement of data, on Wednesday.
