The Saudi cabinet announced on Tuesday that the least developed countries will be exempted from more than $ 6 billion in debt, in continuation of the kingdom's humanitarian and political role in the world.
At the end of a meeting chaired by Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, the Council affirmed that this step comes within the framework of the Kingdom's cooperation with the United Nations and the international community and to support the implementation of the Sustainable Development Plan 2030.
The Council of Ministers referred to the Kingdom's affirmation of its full cooperation with the United Nations and the international community to achieve all that is good for mankind and the aspirations of all of them for security, stability and development, and to continue to fulfill its humanitarian, political and economic role in a sense of responsibility, Sustainable Sustainability 2030 ".
